Course “Performing Arts Management”
Kettari Academy invites you to a practical course “Performing Arts Management”.
The course will give you full insights into the management of Performing Arts and prepare to start working in the arts and cultural industries. The course brings together cross-disciplinary expertise and knowledge in data analytics, creative thinking, business, and law to understand the complex challenges facing creative industries today. The course immerses you in the rich and varied cultural possibilities of performing arts industries with first-hand experience of performing arts venues and festivals through theories; examples; encounters with professionals and practical sessions. You will develop your knowledge and skills for leading the cultural and creative institutions of the future.
By the end of the course, students will have a well-rounded understanding of what is performing arts management; make decisions about where they want to stand in the industry and develop skills that will help them practically and in creative thinking; stand difficulties and find solutions; You will get instate into modern concepts of art management and why you need to reconcile managerial, economic and aesthetic objectives constantly.
In competitive cultural and artistic environments, reputation is built through the creation of a distinctive image. Modern arts management does not replace the traditional functions of management but focuses on the skills required to construct, develop and stabilize cultural environments favorable to a particular artistic endeavor.

Ekaterine Mazmishvili has a MA of Arts at the Central European University in Prague and a Ph.D. in Arts at the Uniman Academy of Management (Grenoble).
In different years, the artist has attended art management practice and theory courses at the Academy of Art Management in Salzburg, as well as in the USA, Bulgaria, and Budapest.
She was the director of Marjanishvili State Theater for more than 15 years. Since 2009, founded and works as creative director of the "Tbilisi International Theater Festival".
In 2023, she was appointed as the director of the newly opened theater space "Theatre Studio 42".
